NEW REVELATION

The 4th season of The Vampire Diaries is probable the most controversial. The season is very advanced and new events and surprises will be appearing, Elena is a vampire now, the Council is a new threat and a vampire hunter appears in Mystic Falls, which will complicate things for everyone. This week we have talked with Claire Holt about Rebekah, her Klaus´s separation, how is been having her old costaring and best friend: Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley) at the set and the course it´s gonna drive this season, which will make things change.

Screen spy: Klaus decisions saving Caroline first than Rebekah in the season premiere. She´s been totally unprinced by her brother. How is this gonna affect to the relationship with the others in this season´s future?

Claire Holt: Rebekah has always been there for her brother. Retorning to the scene of the season´s premiere seh says to him: "It´s always been me. No Elijah. No Kol. No Finn. Me." So she felt really betrayed for him and that definetly is gonna affect to their relationship during the season. She´s really stubbom, she wants them to be a close family, and she loves her brother. She´s also furious with him for having betrayed her again. I think´s it´s a really interesting dynamic for both of them. For much i like when Klaus and Rebekah are a team, it´s also interesting having scenes where they are in a discussion. So i can say to you, that without a doubt it will play a really important part in this season.



Screen spy: It´s it gonna be so difficult for Rebekah to keep her head up and continue in the high school this year?

Claire Holt: She´s gonna try to pretend that it doesn´t affect her. She´s gonna play the bad girl role. But everything is an actuation. Obviously, the isolation it´s gonna be very difficult for her. At the same time, they´re gonna be some funny elements. She really can´t decide what she wants. It will arive a moment in which that doesn´t mean anything. She wants to be the tough girl, but in reality she isn´t like that, so without a doubt, she will be in that dynamic. I have to some really funny scenes where she plays with this aspect.

Screen spy: Phoebe Tonkin and you have shared scene together?




Claire Holt: Not yet. I´m waiting. We´ll see. I´d really liked to see us converted into allies. But all this depends on Julie Plec.

Screen spy: In the 4th episode, "The Five", seams like it´s gonna be really intense. It mentions the powerful vampire hunters connected to Klaus´s past, and we know Rebekah will offer news which will dazzle Stegan. What can you share with us?

Claire Holt: It´s enormous! What Rebekah reveals is really important to the direction of the next season. And the series too. Definetly, the thinking of all will change, without a doubt it will be a game change, but i can´t reveal more. You´ll have to see it!
