New spoilers for the second half of season 5

"The Vampire Diaries" is currently on winter hiatus on CW, but there are big things coming during the second half of the season. On Friday, Dec. 27, Celebrity Dirty Laundry shared several spoilers for the series. The second half of season will start with episode 100, and some of the spoilers are for that episode as well.

Fans will see some big returns during the second half of the season. The return of Klaus to the series has been teased, but fans will also see the return of Aunt Jenna during episode 100. Jenna was killed at the end of season two during Klaus' plot to become a hybrid. No details about her return have been revealed. Tyler Lockwood has also been teased to return in previously released spoilers as well.

Old faces aren't the only characters fans will see. Two new arrivals have also been revealed. One is the new gay character that will become close to Caroline, and another male character named John will also make an appearance.

Flashbacks are popular on the series, and fans will see flashbacks to when Nadia was a child on the series soon. Ashlyn Jade Lopez has been cast in the role of Nadia as a child for the series.

Romance troubles will also plague the couples on the series during the second half of the season. Damon tried to end his relationship with Elena during the mid-season finale, but the couple will reunite. It will be Stefan that helps them find their way back to each other.
