The Originals signs for a series
Just hours after the episode airing serving as a pilot, The CW has given an order for The Originals series. "As soon as we saw last night's episode of The Vampire Diaries, we knew we wanted more of The Originals - Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson have done a fantastic job with The Vampire Diaries, which is as fast and well written as always, and Julie has created a world equally compelling for The Originals "said CW president Mark Pedowitz.
With this series starring siblings Kalus and secures a place in the program schedule for the season 2013/2014 and surely accompany The Vampire Diaries on Thursday nights. It was also learned that Beauty and the Beast was renewed for a second season.
Audience Of The Originals 4x20
The episode on Thursday and served as a pilot for a potential spin-off centered on the original brothers met a total of 2.24 million viewers and a 1.0 in the 18-49 demographic, some numbers a bit low compared to half of the season. Although the reception by fans of The Vampire Diaries is important for The Originals series become one doubts that the CW will feature Klaus's adventures in New Orleans for the season 2013/2014. After those seen in this episode, with a powerful plot twist that between Klaus and Hayley is impossible not to be taken into account by the chain.
Confirmed an order to become waiting until October series will be eternal and tortuous.
Joseph Morgan on Klaus: He is emotionally psychologically and more evil than you´ve ever seen"
Tonight episode 4.20 airs, which will serve as a pilot for the spin-off "The Original" and Joseph Morgan continues to reveal some details as you can see on the next interview. .
Congratulations on the pilot! On a scale of one to ten tusks, how evil is Klaus in the Big Easy?
J. Morgan: For certain reasons which will become clear when you see the episode, I think it makes some of the most evil choices he's ever done - certainly one of them. Given the circumstances, it is psychologically and emotionally more evil than I ever have seen.
TVD has a central love triangle. Did she also in The Originals?
J. Morgan: Maybe. I know you love the love triangles, but no one in the piloto.Pude see how they could come to that with the characters, but not something we talked about. Actually, when we confirmed the first three - Daniel, Phoebe and I - people immediately assumed. I do not know if there will be one in the series.
Definitely there is another kind of triangle - the constant struggle for power between Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah. Should we expect profound moments, epic or family? Will there be flashbacks in the pilot?
J. Morgan: No flashbacks because the episode is packed with new characters. Even New Orleans itself is a major character in the series - is very full of life and present as the people there. However, there is a family time they reach the depths. It's something that will change the family dynamic forever. I will line up at one end Klaus, Rebekah at the other, and in the center Elijah.
What would you say is the biggest difference between New Orleans as a stage in front of Mystic Falls?
J. Morgan: The director, Chris Grismer, wanted to take the vibrancy of New Orleans, so the tone is a much more colorful. It still retains the quality of the shadow of TVD, but has more vitality. This applies to music as well. New Orleans is full of wonderful jazz, blues, and all kinds of live entertainment. NOLA is largely a place that has its own rules, so we wanted to capture their effect. It is a very different, much more lively.
Furthermore, TVD is a story of initiation, and The Originals focuses more on the characters who have embraced their true nature and relish the fact that they are vampires. There is less guilt and remorse.
Like you and Charles Michael Davis, Klaus and Marcel have been friends for a long time. However, we feel tension between them. What does dynamics?
J. Morgan: Well, first of all, Charles is magnificent in the series. In the middle of the season, if we continue, the series will be centered rather than Marcel Klaus. I saw the pilot recently and he is absolutely fantastic. Today must be 8 or 9000 followers on Twitter and I can not wait to see, after the episode is transmitted, the large increase of new followers and fans. He plays a character exuberant and dynamic between Marcel and Klaus is one of the most interesting of the series, I think because of the history between them. And so, for me, their camaraderie is as intriguing as the complex relationship between the brothers Originals, because Marcel and Klaus are people who love and hate at the same time. Even in the episode, its dynamics has its own goal and, no doubt, if the series goes on, there will be more to explore. And it would be a shame if Marcel's character was never seen on television after this episode, and that Charles really did something special with this paper.
Oh, we totally agree with this last point. Charles is basically the heartthrob of New Orleans.
J. Morgan: (laughs) So handsome - damn it - with his big smile.
Besides Charles, there are many new faces in the pilot. How was working with Danielle Campbell, Leah Pipes, and Daniela Pineda?
J. Morgan: It was an amazing experience! First, I love my new cast. Do not know them very well, so that may change in the future, but right now I love everyone. (Laughs) Daniela is very funny. As for Leah who plays Camille, filmed my favorite scene with her. It really does not say much, but I think it's the best acting I've done. I do not know what to think, but to me that scene out. For me it was very consistent. She made some interesting choices as an actress and found very safe in the pilot. I have not acted yet with Danielle, but I adore her as a person. I saw your scene in the pilot and she is amazing. It is also very nice. To me, it looks like Katie Holmes young. Must be made of porcelain. (Laughs)
Hayley also appear in New Orleans in episode 4x20. Are we going to witness some interesting interaction between her and Klaus, especially after they had retired?
J. Morgan: Reference is made in the pilot and shared screen time. There is a scene between the two, and what they have done with that connection is to give our characters a kind of history. We'll see how they feel about their night together, is a very human in a supernatural series.
And, just for fun, what is the juiciest circumstances of yourself that many people still do not know?
J. Morgan: (laughs) I'll tell you something - the most juicy about Klaus that viewers do not yet know will be revealed in the pilot, will be very exciting to watch. Not sure mine, though, if there is something about me that I have not shared, then you will probably never be revealed.

Joseph Morgan talks about The Originals 4x20
SPOILER ALERT!
In an interview with Zap2it the actor talks about the episode on Thursday, expectations of a possible new series and the story behind "The Originals".
Zap2it: "The Originals" airs tomorrow! There has been much anticipation for this series. Are you nervous?
Morgan: I'm really excited. I am interested, because I've seen the pilot which was presented to the chain and study, but that is a different version to be issued. The chapter will give you a bit of "Vampire Diaries" instead of just "The Originals." It has extra scenes. Is that the chain and the studio really like, but will depend on the reactions of the people. I really hope that people will respond to the new characters and the story presented. Now I'm ready to be there. I'm tired of not knowing what is going on. I think it's time for people to see. There has been a lot of support and expectation, I count the days until the fans are rewarded.
Klaus's relationship with Elijah and Rebekah is as bad as it ever was. At this point, it is hard to imagine them deciding to move to New Orleans as one big happy family. Will it improve your relationship during this chapter?
Morgan: Things are definitely becoming more complicated, but not if that is progress or not. At the beginning of the chapter, we feel like there's a line. Klaus is in an extreme Rebekah is on the other, and Elijah is in the middle, the great mediator. He is trying to put together things in the family, but I think the most interesting thing about "The Originals" is that its dynamics is complicated. There are certainly mutual hatred, there are things that you think they never forgive, but also love. As an actor, makes the conscious decision that there is love. When he said those terrible things to Rebekah - "You're not my family, not my sister, you're nothing to me" - I think I have to make him go somewhere where he shuts his emotions. He put a wall around it feels for her. Those are the things that make it really interesting. I do not know if the relationship is going well or not, but it will have more layers.
Tell us about some of the new characters to meet. Camille [Leah Pipes], which has been established as a love interest for Klaus, is the human figure in the series. From what we've heard, she's not a naive Elena Gilbert.
Morgan: "The Originals" was released as a series darker and more adult, and Camille embodies that. She is the only regular human character in the series, but it is badly damaged. The characters in "Vampire Diaries," at first, had experienced the tragedy, but they came with a very innocent. She is getting much more sick, with an understanding of the dark. I have a scene suited to it and think it's one of the best jobs I've done. Although they do not say much on the scene, it was a challenge for me. I like working with Leah. Julie interesting decisions. It is a beautiful girl, but for me, not like most fans who watch the show, for example. She is a fantastic character.
We will meet Marcel [Charles Michael Davis], who has been holding the fort in New Orleans. For the trailer, it seems that Klaus is ready to overthrow him.
Morgan: There's a story there, there is a friendship, but Klaus is envious of what Marcel has been achieved in their absence. Klaus is far more powerful to be an Original vampire, and a hybrid. Marcel is just a vampire, created by Klaus. But what Marcel has to Klaus does not have is that army. Directs the city, goes to the vampires, the witches have in the palm of your hand. They can not do magic without his say. What it lacks in personal power, it makes up influence. If things blow up between them, that's where the challenge is. Klaus is an army of one man, but Marcel has an army.
Sounds like Marcel has managed to create the family that Klaus wanted, but could not create hybrids.
Morgan: That's very clever of you, yes, because that's where they come from totally envy and jealousy. The characters respond to him, he is charismatic. Klaus did not have that, and can not understand. Beware of people, people betrayed, and he betrays them. He does not have the leadership qualities that Marcel has. He envy the charisma that kid has.
Is there a lot of talk about Caroline in this chapter? If Klaus is preparing to move to New Orleans, I imagine that she would be more motivated to stay in Mystic Falls.
Morgan: Reference is made in the chapter. Klaus refers to that. It's not like you're in a new place and is like, "Well, forget it!" . I think Klaus would be ideal for her to come to New Orleans, he is still in love with her. It will present a new love interest and immediately go, "Hey, that girl he is with now". They respect the fans enough to keep Caroline and potentially work on some crossovers.
Could there be a last minute twist, with Candice Accola joining "The Originals"?
Morgan: I think "Vampire Diaries" Caroline losing greatly suffer Forbes. I really feel that it would be good for the series, in my view, to come to "The Originals," and we have to keep the balance now that the world is bigger. There are two sets to maintain, potentially, so it could be a bit of a long distance relationship, if any, for a while.
What about Hayley [Phoebe Tonkin]? Is a potential love interest for Klaus, or was it just a one time?
Morgan: I think it's one-time thing. I think it will be some resolution, some of the consequences of his adventure in the chapter. We'll see how they feel about it and how it affects them. He is not trying to revive it, and I think it either. I really loved that to happen between them because just goes to show the nature of the character of Klaus failures. I think it was a very bold and writers Julie because absolutely knew the implications, the reaction of all the fans. Fans Klaus and Caroline hate that, but he has always been a flawed character. It is by no means perfect. He has made more mistakes in his life that hundreds of people together, so show it making a mistake like that - I mean, it's a boy, show responding to his nature, his instincts - I think that is a correct decision and brave. I supported that.
Now that Klaus is the protagonist of the series, should we expect to see him as the hero of his story, and still retaining its status as villain?
Morgan: I think I would go so far as to say anti-hero. He is definitely a hero. Does terrible things in the pilot takes one of the most shameful emotional decisions that we have seen take. He is not the villain of this piece. Never would have thought the guy who came and offered to Aunt Jenna could have his own series. I think as long as we show the cracks, the glimpses of vulnerability, we will support. It is an anti-hero. I think if I mean anything, is that if it becomes a series, the story eventually could be the story of the salvation of Klaus.

Is someone dying in the Season 4 Finale?
SPOILER ALERT!

Well, all the emotional turmoil is not quite over according to the show’s executive producer Julie Plec who hinted that someone might die on the Season 4 finale, “Graduation!”
Oh no! Who do you think will be next to die on this supernatural series? A lot of viewers are guessing Matt (Zach Roerig) due to his human vulnerabilities, Tyler (Michael Trevino) due to being a marked man by Klaus, or Bonnie (Kat Graham) due to her involvement with Silas. Honestly though, anything goes in this town. And anyone is fair game.

Stelena ... ?
SPOILER ALERT!
In the last chapter of Vampire Diaries, Stefan told Damon that it was time to break the cycle of love the same woman. To do this, Stefan said his plan was to 1.) Assist Elena Damon to take the cure and 2.) Take it out your life so that he can find a new one for him. That last one sounds pretty good to Wesley in the face of season 5. "I think Stefan should go and explore another city," says EW. "I think Stefan is very interesting when separated from the group and explores his own demons. I think it's time for him to leave, and then return to Mystic Falls and see how that affects the relationship with Elena and Damon. Could be saying it selfishly because I love a different story, but I also think it would be good objective for the series. "
Executive producer Julie Plec confirms that someone will take the cure in the season finale which airs on May 16 at Wesley would love to be one of the main characters of TVD. "I like to think that [the next season] might be a little less hectic and a few days back less complex in which only the building of the character," he says. "Maybe one of us ends up being human, and we can see how we have to deal with it in a much more connected to the ground." Plec says also that if you get a response to the love expressed by Damon Elena is real. Wesley you ready for that? "God, yes," he says with a smile. "I can not imagine ever Elena saying, 'Oh, I'm in love with you, it's just Stefan,' because then I, Whither the series from there? But his intense feelings for Damon during the sire bond - I can not imagine that they were 110% true. I have curiosity to know what will happen. "
After sharing a dance in the chapter on April 18, Stefan continue wondering for the rest of the season if Elena wanted to go back to him, he would say yes. "That does not mean that we are facing the question: Who will she choose? again, "says Plec. "But the question is, where his heart really lies? What is the truth? And where this love triangle is directed "The answer could be a love square.
Although Rebekah leave Mystic Falls for New Orleans if the spin-off of the Originals gets to be a series, still Caroline, Elena even without humanity has begun to be a fan of Stefan and Caroline. (She is also on the Stefan dance card.) "I think when an audience vocalized their preference or dislike for something, usually has an impact - in general, but specifically for this series," says Wesley. "The audience is very loyal. We will not necessarily give them what they want, but I realize that we consider things and play with them, keep them engaged, "he adds, laughing again. Plec not rule it exactly: "All I will say about it is I've been being a fan of that couple from Chapter 2 of season 2, when Stefan took her to the bathroom and told him that would be fine. So I'm a fan of this couple, "Plec says, laughing" then maybe one day that is a path we can go. "
