A Happy Graduation?


SPOILER ALERT!
What if you do a graduation ceremony and nobody comes? That's the dilemma facing Mystic Falls boys - many of their relatives are dead - when the end of school approaching in The Vampire Diaries. "Elena has no family," says executive producer Julie Plec. "There is a line in the [penultimate] episode when Elena is filling out graduation announcements saying, 'Who am I supposed to send mine?'"

The big question is, what students - Elena, Stefan, Caroline, Matt, Bonnie and Rebekah - are really in the big event, which airs on May 16? "Definitely not rebels and criminals all our students will be present when it comes time to collect their diplomas," says Plec. "I'm not saying that they will not be alive - just not be able to come, because the graduation falls right in the middle of a crucial supernatural event."
Appropriately, coats and dresses are blood red. And the gift is above on everyone's wish list is the cure vampire, "it will be eaten by a vampire," Plec confirms. "This will be one of the final moments of the final."
The next season, start Diaries book page 90210 to have a number of students enrolled at the nearby university, Whitmore College. Other, reveals Plec, "could choose to march to Europe, New Orleans or unfamiliar places."
