A new danger - Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is furious when Klaus (Joseph Morgan) tries to control it endangering the life of Matt (Zach Roerig). Damon (Ian Somerhalder) trains to Jeremy while preparing to oppose the new vampires of Klaus, but they discover that Kol (guest star Nathaniel Buzolic) is ahead them. Kol makes clear that no will stop at nothing to convince everyone to give up the search for the cure. Looking for a new ally, Rebekah (Claire Holt) reminds you to Stefan (Paul Wesley) who once were close friends. When the Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) and Hopkins (guest star Rick Worthy) mayor asks Shane (guest star David Alpay) about his involvement in the death of the founders of the Council, Bonnie (Kat Graham) takes a step in the right direction, asking him about his account, and responses from Shane put Bonnie powers to the limit. Elena (Nina Dobrev) negotiates with Klaus to keep Jeremy safe, but when the danger suddenly appears out of a totally unexpected enemy, Elena comes with its own plan to Jeremy.
