PAUL WESLEY SPEAKS OF TRAUMA AND LOVING LIFE IN THE SEASON 5 FOR STEFAN

Stefan (Paul Wesley ) can not spend the entire Season 5 perpetually drowning in the river bottom , right? But how Stefan will come out? How will this ordeal his perspective of the people who are in your life? Paul spoke with ETonline on possible changes to the Stelena and Steroline in the new season.

When Stefan out of the river , not everything will be rosy . Paul called the experience " endless torture " for Stefan and said, " He's really sick in the head . Almost as if the disorder of post -traumatic stress . " But one thing that this experience has given Stefan , and it is time to reflect on his life - and the people in it.

" You will discover that the only way you can support yourself is to recreate hallucinations that are revealing, " said Paul . " Somehow, epiphanies are having down there. " Epiphany Stefan # 1 : Should I stop going to school .

Any hallucination about Stelena ? According to Paul , Stefan and Elena (Nina Dobrev ) are in the friend zone now , and your relationship will be unlike anything we've seen so far.

" I have fans looking forward to see this new version of their relationship because I think I was getting a little superfluous , " said Paul . " They arrived in a very platonic towards the end of season 3 and to be honest , and do not see it as a triangle . In my eyes , they became friends, so there's something that's totally bizarre - like being at the bottom of a river , drowning over and over again - . It's okay because it adds another variable that can mix things up and perhaps lead to a new and strange romance. "

As the other woman in her life - her best friend Caroline (Candice Accola ) - is there any possibility that his feelings for her also change in Season 5 ?

"So far everything has been relatively platonic between them, but , again , some circumstances that occur that Stefan will see in it a new light, " said Paul . " I do not know how she will feel about him ."

Season 5 of The Vampire Diaries premieres with positive numbers and the level of season 4. Last night the first episode gathered a total of 2.55 million viewers and a 1.2 in the 18-49 target. An hour later, the premiere of The Originals gathers 2.15 million viewers and a 0.9 in the 18-49 target, but loses little hearing regarding the TVD, some numbers are a bit low for a premiere and more if we note that next week will move to its schedule on Tuesday at 8 pm and could lose more hearing. Even the audience is lower than the premiere of Beauty and the Beast last year.

Awkard Moments between Jeremy and Elena

The screeners gods have gifted us with a look at The Vampire Diaries‘ Season 5 premiere, and we simply couldn’t keep to ourselves about Elena and Caroline’s “functional” college fresh start.

Here are 11 teasers about Elena and Damon’s summer of love, Silas’ mission, Matt’s wild times, Katherine’s blisters (yep!) and more.

• The episode is called “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” and we’ll find out what everyone’s been up during the period thanks to some back-and-forth emails between Bonnie (via Jeremy’s help) and Elena, who’s spent the three months getting hot-n-heavy with Damon every chance she got, it seems.

• Damon and Jeremy share a scene that may just make you forget about the time the vamp tried to kill Elena’s little bro and instead go, “Awww.”

• Tyler is MIA because, apparently, a wolf pack in Tennessee really needs his help.

• Although Elena is definitely with Damon, Stelena ‘shippers will still get a little something to tide them over.

• Bonnie’s scream during that scene from the Comic-Con sizzle reel is for a very horrifying reason.

• You know what puts a major damper on your first college rager? Not being able to enter the party because you need to be invited in. On the other hand, maybe that’s for the best….

COLLEGE DAYS - After spending the summer desfrutando of his passionate relationship with Damon (Ian Somerhalder), and make sure that Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is adjusting to his return from the dead, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is delighted to enter the homes of students from the nearby University Whitmore with her new roommate, Caroline (Candice Accola). Still believing that Bonnie (Kat Graham) has been traveling all summer and will soon join them, Elena and Caroline are surprised when a student named Megan (guest star Hayley Kiyoko) appears and announces that they will share bedroom. Katherine (Nina Dobrev) makes an unexpected appearance at the Salvatore house and Damon begs help now that is human and vulnerable to his enemies. Matt (Zach Roering) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) return to Mystic Falls after spending a wild summer in Europe, where they found a mysterious beauty named Nadia (guest star Olgafonda). Hints on season 5

The new season will take us three months later, following a (relatively) quiet summer. But this is Mystic Falls, so peace has no chance, especially impersonating Stefan Silas. "We will explore this phenomenon doppelganger and how and why they exist in our mythology," reveals executive producer Caroline Dries, also expected the arrival of a "legitimate Great Villain" in the way it is "terrifying and create a new dynamics. "In terms of romance, the honeymoon period of Elena and Damon could be interrupted by his friendship with a fellow University (played by Shaun Sipos), while Caroline Tyler remains focused even when connected to Jesse (Kendrick interpreted by Sampson). Speaking of Tyler: Although the executive producer will not reveal when the hybrid, promises to be "in a very beautiful and appropriate" - and "a bit of attitude" about the fact that Klaus is well needed. Finally, Bonnie and Jeremy experiencing some connection problems that even AT & T MiFi can be resolved. Dries explains: "The external conflict is, 'I can not touch you,' and internal conflict is, 'Actually I have feelings for you, but I can not talk to them.'"

"[Matt] will not be a minor character this season," says executive producer Caroline Dries. "It really is an interesting and intriguing story this year.
