Mystic Falls has seen its share of bloody holiday, but with the immortal evil Silas in the list of attendees, Dance Costume Whitmore Historical Society is a nightmare. "Everything goes terribly wrong because Damon makes a deal with the devil, for example, Silas" says Caroline Dries. "Damon realizes he wants the same thing as Silas - for different reasons - and maybe they can use each other to achieve their goals." As always, Damon tries to please his girlfriend Elena, and as always screws up. The result? "Things are going to get really bad for one of the main characters," Dries progresses. "The last scene paralyzes the heart" - Ileane Rudolph

"Damon and Elena look splendid as Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, one of the wives that he beheaded" says Caroline Dries. "As Henry, Damon is dangerous to go out with him."

COSTUME PARTY OF THE DAMNED - On campus, Elena is touched by a sad and quiet student named Aaron. Elena and Damon attend Whitmore Historical Dance dressed as Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII. At the dance, Elena shares a dance with Dr. Maxfield, who has a disturbing message for her. Caroline's night on the dance takes from happiness to sorrow. Meanwhile, Nadia reveals her amazing story to Katherine, and Damon tries to make a deal with Silas. Silas demand that Damon commits an unthinkable act leads to a violent confrontation. Kat Graham and Zach Roerig also star. Kellie Cyrus directed the episode written by Sonny Postiglione (# 505).
