Stefan will be out of his mind this season
SPOILER ALERT
Paul Wesley has played in several incarnations of his character , from the sensible to the Ripper Stefan Stefan and various shades in between . But at the beginning of season 5 , Wesley faces his biggest challenge playing two characters - one Stefan destroyed physically and Silas doppelganger immortal and manipulative .
At the end of last season , Stefan is leaving town to bury what he thought was the body of Silas while also getting a fresh start away from Mystic Falls and love of his life , Elena , who is now dating her brother Damon. However, his game plan was wrong when Silas suddenly become a "shadow self " - a doppelganger - locked him in a coffin and thrown into the river .
" Stefan is really fucking head when you leave the quarry ," says Wesley TVGuide.com in the video below . "He had all these experiences of torture and so now does not react the same way as before and not as malleable. Definitely a different man ."
Before Stefan return to Mystic Falls, Silas will . His friends and his brother did not know immediately that he is not . But it will not be long before Damon and Jeremy feel that something happens - especially when this "new" Stefan is completely different, much more conceited.
" Silas has a lot of pain and anger , but is masked ," says Wesley . " [ There are ] intimidated by anything and the world is your playground. Has 2,000 years old and is supremely himself as more interesting and sophisticated. He does not feed on people , thought to be crude and primitive , so that manipulates people to cut and shed their blood and then drinking it , he's a bit posh " .
As Stefan Silas suffers and causes havoc , connecting Elena with Stefan proves stronger than ever , giving you a deep sense that something is very wrong . "When you're in love with someone , even if it is your life you have that connection with them, the love is still there , whether romantic or not." Nina Dobrev says . " When she finds out what has happened will not be easy for her."
Ultimately, Elena , Damon and company realize that thought is Stefan who is actually Silas , while at the same time Stefan finally come out of his perpetual state of suffocation. As theses two versions co-exist , Wesley interpreted the two characters until the bad guy is defeated this season - at least that it is not. While fans may remember that last epic villain , Klaus , was originally going to die in season 2 . How he became a fan favorite , his character remained in the series and ultimately spin.off wrote itself . What if Wesley received the same adoration during his time as Silas ? . Executive producer Julie Plec tells us that there is always a backup plan.
" He is a villain and at some point the bad guy needs to be addressed and overcome , no matter how good they are. So we'll see ." Plec says .

Stelena has still a chance?
Question: I’m so excited about season 5 of The Vampire Diaries! In the new promo, there was moment where it seemed like Stefan was flirting with Katherine. Now that Elena is with Damon, does this mean that Stefan has his eyes on Katherine? —Rashad
Ausiello: Actually, if you caught the finale, it means Silas has eyes for Katherine. But trust me when I say, his intentions with the now-human rabble-rouser are far from amorous.

What will be the status of Delena in season 5 of The Vampire Diaries?. Ian Somerhalder responded to this question in a previous interview with TV Fanatic.
But, what is the status of the relationship between Damon and Stefan?, Or should we say Silas, considering that this is passed by the lower of the Salvatore when the series returns on October 3.
In this interview, Paul refers to a "power shift" will occur between the Salvatore brothers while talking about the challenges and excitement of playing two characters. What about Stefan?. The guy will be really hungry when he gets out of the safe.

But before that, get ready to witness the meeting more awkward / weird when Salvatore literally embrace after their summer apart. CAN A VILLAIN BE BIGGER THAN SILAS?
SPOILER ALERTIt's been a difficult summer for Stefan. Silas locked the vampire in a watery grave, and now the old doppelganger will cause a storm in Mystic Falls.
According to a new spoiler from TV Guide, about which I commented, Silas still has the suicide - and his girlfriend - in the brain. "He still wants to break free of what he calls" the stinking immortal life 2,000 years, "says executive producer Julie Plec." Keep hope to die, to cross over and be with her true love. But of course, things will change along the way. "
How much visa Silas Stefan used to promote this goal?, Not clear. The only thing Julie Silas says is that its appearance will be a problem for Elena and Damon.
However, the band may have bigger problems on your hands. "He will be causing many problems in the beginning of the season, for sure, but by no means is the biggest villain in the fifth season," says Julia Silas.
Can there be a greater threat than the immortal Silas?, The most powerful supernatural creature. We would like to know how the writers resolve this.
AN EX OF STEFAN APPEARS IN MYSTIC FALLS
SPOILER ALERTSeason 5 of 'The Vampire Diaries' will start on October 10th on the CW. TV Guide has just revealed new spoilers about the return of one of the ex of Stefan.
One of the many former Stefan in Mystic Falls should disembark influenced by a deep desire for revenge. Tessa would have spent centuries chasing the brothers Salvatore and go first by Damon, stealing his ring will get him to the light of day. Knowing the most of Salvatore, the vampire would do well if vigilase their backs.
The interpreter Tessa has not yet been revealed by the production, nor is ahead the episode in which first appears.
