Ian Somerhalder & Nina Dobrev Win Favorite On-Screen Chemistry At The People's Choice Awards!
- Despite breaking up in real life, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev just took home the People's Choice Award for Favorite On-Screen Chemistry!
Ian Somerhalder Wins Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor
Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor is always the toughest People’s Choice Award to decide. How does one possibly choose when the options are Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Stephen Amell, Ian Somerhalder and Andrew Lincoln? But the fans did decide, and Ian Somerhalder took home the 2014 trophy during the red carpet pre-show
“This is incredible,” Ian, who was sporting some serious scruff, said when he was handed his shiny trophy. “This is for the fans, I can’t thank you guys enough.”
He also graciously thanked the Vampire Diaries crew, then dished about spending his New Year’s Eve in Bejing, Tokyo, and Mexico. Sounds like quite a life!
Nina Dobrev was also in the red carpet:
- Since someone had to come out on top, we’re glad it was Ian. His performance as Damon on The Vampire Diaries this season has been his strongest yet, and seeing him joke around on the red carpet is always a blast. Ian seems like a great guy, and he deserves every bit of recognition he gets.

IAN SOMERHALDER SPEAKS OF THE MID-SEASON FINALE
SPOILER ALERT"Our fans make this boat go , and they inspire me to do my best ," says Ian Somerhalder , who plays Damon Salvatore . After 5 seasons , obsessive fans of the supernatural series have made it one of the most watched programs of the CW . We interviewed Ian on the fall finale that dislocated jaw.
The last chapters have flashes of the year 1950, when Damon suffered terrible vampiric experiments. What do we learn about their experience ?

Damon usually does not reveal much of what has happened in your life , but there is a scene where he talks about how she became the way she is . It's very intimate . Damon did something that is exceptionally dark .
On the light side , we imagine that Damon 50 was a total Marlon Brando. Do we go ?
Has a motorcycle jacket and boots. It's like a cross between Mick Jagger and Cary Grant, Marlon Brando mode .
DAMON´S PAST
SPOILER ALERTHere are some revelations of the next episode:
- In addition to seeing Damon in the 1950 season and leather jacket, Dr. Maxfield makes him some "evidence" that make you remember a time when you stuck with needles. Also revives a memory of a relative Salvatore have not seen in a while.

Ian Somerhalder believes that Elena and Damon´s relationship is strange
"Got the girl, at a high price," said Ian. "It will be very strange for this guy. Katherine was so in love with for so many years, suffering it innocence of a man of 23 years "
We have to admit it's a little weird triangle between Damon, Elena and Stefan, because it is basically the same love triangle that was many moons ago between Damon, Katherine and Stefan.
"Being in love with this woman who broke your heart, and then suddenly find yourself with someone who is completely identical to it, but that is 160 years younger than you," said Ian. "What I love about their relationship this season is that it's something the audience has wanted to see for a long time. But keep in mind that this is The Vampire Diaries, so people happy for a long time does not exist. "
