'The Originals' episode 2 first look: Flashbacks show a flirtation between Rebekah ... and Marcel?

As if Rebekah and Klaus didn't have enough of a complicated brother/sister relationship already, the above first look photo from episode 2 of "The Originals" reveals there is even more to it than we thought. Did Rebekah and Klaus' former protege (and current nemesis) Marcel have a relationship back when the Original family built New Orleans?
Executive producer Julie Plec did warn us there might be unknown history between the two. "I wonder if there's history there having shared all that time together in New Orleans," Plec teases. "I wonder if you tune into episode 2..."
The CW released other first look photos as well as the official synopsis of episode 2, "House of the Rising Son," on Thursday (Sept. 19). Read the full synopsis below:
"When Rebekah arrives in New Orleans at her brother Elijah's insistence, she meets Hayley, who gives her some unexpected news. Concerned that her brother Klaus is up to no good, Rebekah seeks help from a reluctant Sophie. At her wits' end, Hayley takes matters into her own hands, but things quickly take a dangerous turn. Determined to uncover Marcel's secret weapon, Klaus stays one step ahead and executes his plan. Meanwhile, after a run-in with Marcel, Rebekah is reminded of all the anger and disappointment Klaus has caused her throughout the years. Finally, Marcel enlists Davina's help in his own dangerous plan."
