"We´ll always have Bourbon street" 4x08
A flashback to New Orleans in 1942 - when Stefan confronts Damon, with suspicion of Elena, Damon has no choice but to help Stefan to investigate. In search of answers, Damon and Stefan visit the modern New Orleans to see if they can find someone who remember the events of her last visit in 1942, including one of the former's Damon, Charlotte (guest star Madeline Zima). Elena, Caroline and Bonie share a night of girls, while the Salvatore brothers are outside the city, and the emotions will exalt when Elena offers a shocking news. After the insistence of Hayley, Tyler confronts one of the hybrids of Klaus, Kimberly (guest star Alyssa Diaz), and the situation quickly becomes violent. Finally Damon were faced with a wrenching decision.

Ready to watch the Salvatore brothers in uniform?
On December 6, The Vampire Diaries episode we´ll give us a flashback to New Orleans from 1940. We will see Stefan and Damon dressed in their uniform of World War II. As if that wasn't tempting enough, the best friend of Stefan, Lexi will also make an appearance.
We don’t really know for sure why we are going back to this particular era, but if there is one thing that we have learned for sure via this show, it is that these flashbacks are always a part of the show for some sort of a purpose. (In other words, they are not completely and totally irrelevent.)
A past romance
¿What such an exclusive? Madeline Zima, who has gone into Heroes and Californication will be guest-starring in episode 8 as Charlotte, a character who is rumored that she shared a romantic past with - hold on! -Damon!

We found out in last week’s episode that Jeremy inherited Connor’s Hunter powers, and the youngest Gilbert will presumably begin to come into his own as a Hunter of vampires – of course whether or not he’ll embrace that role or fight it, we don’t yet know.
The Vampire Diaries returns Thursday at 8/7c on The CW with “We All Go a Little Mad Sometimes.” Elena is having powerful hallucinations after killing Connor, but why? Will they find a way to save her? We can’t wait to find out!

Jeremy is marked
But what we all want to know is why?
Connor said that after the hunter before him died the mark showed up on him. Since Connor is dead, the mark goes to the next Vampire Hunter, which is Jeremy Gilbert.
He hasn´t killed any vampires yet and we hope he doesn´t!
But that isn´t all, Elena killed Connor and if a vampire kills a vampire hunter she or he will keep having alucinations.

He is described as “ruggedly handsome, charming, built and tough as hell.” Ideally, the gent landing the part will wield an Irish, Scottish or Australian accent. It is speculated that Vaughn could be part of the brotherhood of The Five.
